I wouldn't have cared even if you were promoting piracy.
The Final Task obviously glorifies murder, and it's held in such high regard.
This was funny, and clever, and deserves all of the 4 that I gave it.

everyone and their music

a lot of student films have the same problem.

the kids are all like "oh yes, let's put in korn because they're so uber" even though korn isn't at the uh... emotional... level... of the scene.

so the dastardly villain breaks into the house, steals a fishbowl... and now it's time for some dance music! this techno cuts the dastardly villain theme abruptly. the lack of transition is annoying and too common. FADE and or CROSSFADE!

later on the guy falls at his doorstep and there's a flash back to him at the bar with a hooker that he's having his way with.
and the abrupt cut in of the sound worked well for that.
back on the doorstep... THE MUSIC IS STILL PLAYING!

oh no!

you get a 10 for humor because the voices were just THAT bad.

as far as the animation goes, it was like still frame to still frame. you cant just take a comic panel by panel and throw it up there and then call it a movie, what the hell is the point in that?
maybe to get the benefit of using voices, which you should not have done to begin with... not with those voices anyway... and not with that piss poor microphone.

their reactions to the song are so real! i was so like that this one time while i was high on cough syrup! i was like "hey, could someone turn down that music?" and theyre like "what music?" only that it instead of getting a little louder in my my head, i had complete sensory loss and tripped hard for 2 hours straight.

...

also i liked the animation. it was simple and yet lacked those special features that make so many of the movies on here look like they were drawn by 10 year olds.

now all you have to do is make a flash and use that metal cover of banana phone you have on your site. uunf.

ps: the sequal rocked also, even though i will never ever watch it again.
